Welcome to the new home for information and the history of The League of Competitive Wrestling, or simply "The League" for short.

 

Formed in 2010, The League takes the concept of professional wrestling and turns it on its ear.  Unlike "standard" pro wrestling, winners are not pre-determined in The League.  Each of the competitors wrestles the same number of times each season, leading to the best wrestlers competing in a single-elimination tournament to determine who the best competitor is that season.  The League strives for parity, and it shows as no one has won more than one League Championship in singles competition.  Women and men face each other on a level playing field, with no quarter expected or given.  The action in the ring is as real as it gets, and the competition is just as fierce as the combatants strive to stand atop the mountain at season's end and call themselves the League Champion.
